On April 18, 2025, the red carpet ceremony of the opening ceremony of the 15th Beijing International Film Festival was held at the Yanqi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center in Beijing. Chinese and foreign filmmakers stepped on the red carpet in the spring rain and invited the audience to start a journey of light and shadow together to witness the charm of film art. This year marks the 130th anniversary of the birth of the world film and the 120th anniversary of the birth of the Chinese film.
